Media sources have revealed that Algerian entities circulated a forged document allegedly issued by the Moroccan Liaison Office in Tel Aviv, claiming the death of two Moroccan officers and the injury of a third in the recent Iranian attack on the Israeli military base of Meron.
This deceptive attempt comes as a hasty reaction to reports about the death of Algerian officers in Iran. These entities fabricated a diplomatic document dated June 20, 2025, in a transparent effort to divert attention and tarnish Morocco’s image.

This incident exposes a recurring pattern of using misleading propaganda and fake news as tools in smear campaigns directed against Morocco. The forged document was disseminated across media platforms and accounts linked to Algerian sources.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time such cheap propaganda tactics have been employed in an attempt to undermine Morocco’s credibility and international relations, confirming the ongoing use of media disinformation to serve hostile political agendas.
